1. Tell me a little bit about yourself?

I am a food lover, nutritionist, mum of three awesome kids, wife of one fabulous human and mad lover of life. I am 55 year old New York who fell in love with Australia 30 years ago and have been grateful ever since moving here.

2. Why for you feel it is important to support cancer research?

Everyone knows someone with cancer sadly.  We need research so we can move into prevention of cancer.  We need to get to a place of pro active wellbeing.  Supporting young researchers, with fresh ideas, open minds, and passion is invaluable!

3. What is it that inspires you to support Cure Cancer specifically?

There are many charities we all can support but the appeal to Cure Cancer is that it researches ALL cancers.  Cancer doesnt discriminate sadly-it comes to finds even healthy humans- research should not discriminate either.

4. Everyday Cashmere have partnered with Cure Cancer and are donating 10% of every purchase towards cancer research between April 19th – May 9th. Why are partnerships like this important for cancer research?

I love Everyday Cashmere for stepping up and showing their support.  If everyone did just a little for helping funding research imagine where we could be with new treatments and prevention.

5. Everyday Cashmere are passionate about wellness and sustainability. How do you try to practice wellness in your everyday life?

Wellness in moderation is my mantra.  Eat well, exercise a little everyday, sleep deeply, and stress hack when life gets crazy.

6. Your business, A Healthy View, is all about wellness. Can you tell us a little bit more about why this matters to you?

Nutrition always has  been a path to wellbeing.  If you eat well it has a knock on effect to how you sleep, exercise and cope with stress.  I like to think of nourishment as prevention for mental wellbeing and physcial wellbeing and the science is emerging quickly in this area.

7. What are your top tips for wellness?

Create a plan that suits you that is full of micro habits that lead to big improvements.  Do not set goals too big or go for fad, extreme dieting as that often sets you up for failure or short lived goals.

8. What do you think of your Everyday Cashmere piece and where will you be wearing it?

I have it on right now and I am not sure if I will be taking it off at all this winter.  How did I not know about this company! Soft, cozy, and quite on trend. See my insta as I will be wearing it to yoga, the office, walking my dog, heck I might even where it to my speaking engagement for CureCancer coming up.

9. How will you be celebrating Mother’s Day this year?

For over 10 years, I have walked or run The Breast Cancer walk with my family on Mother’s Day.  Fresh air with the people I love while I exercise.  Boom- I am a lucky mumma!

10. Can you tell us a little bit about the recipes you have shared with us?

All of our recipes at A Healthy View hyperlink please are wholefood, easy, tasty, healthy and affordable.  When a meal has those 4 components they are ‘do-able’ and people want to repeat them.  This forms a habit … before you know it… you are walking down a path of wellbeing!
